Deer hunting in Scotland with a large and luxurious lodge to stay in.
There are many properties and hotels you can stay in when deer hunting in Scotland, but few which offer the comfort and facilities of Craiganour Lodge. Craiganour Estate extends to around 21,000 acres and is located in Highland Perthshire, with the lodge close to the north shore of Loch Rannoch which it enjoys spectacular views of.
All the stalking on the estate is for red deer, with the season for stags being from 1st July to 20th October, and for hinds from 21st October through to 15th February. We really do offer some of the best deer hunting in Scotland, with our resident gamekeeper providing truly expert knowledge of the vast estate and the best locations to stalk red deer.
But of course, even great stalking in the hills is only complete if you can return to a superb luxurious lodge to call your own. And that's just what you can do at Craiganour, because even if your party is much smaller than the 18 the lodge can sleep, then it will still be exclusively yours. The only other person you will see in the property is the housekeeper, and perhaps your chef, but other than that you're promised all the privacy that only a very large hunting lodge like Craiganour can provide.
And if you still need contact with the business world during your stay, then this is easily catered for as there's broadband access throughout the property. And for evening entertainment as your relax by an open fire and after enjoying superb meal prepared by the resident chef, there's Sky TV or Bose music system in the common room.
